Rain rain go away

The incessant rain in Charleston has reminded me of the importance for rain boots (or rain shoes for those of us in hot climates!)  I can't wait to get my hands on those studded beauties from Hunter and the Beatle inspired Jeffrey Campbell shoeties will look fantastic with black tights or leggings!

Black Tie Affair

The simplicity, as well as the intricate details, of this Georgia O'Keeffe inspires a confection of lacy dresses in black and white.  The skull topped clutch is to die for!!  I would love to wear the tuxedo jacket, sequin top, and some black cigarette pants for a night on the town.  Nothing beats a classic color combination with a modern twist.

Hurry Up Fall

I'm getting very impatient with the warm weather of the South.  As much as I love summer at the beach, I equally enjoy the crisp fall air that ushers in a season of holidays and parties.  The colors in this painting remind of the beginning of fall with the changing of the leaves and the inevitability of getting to wear long sleeves.
