October is Fashion Month at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. They are hosting tons of lectures and events for those who are lucky enough to live there! The museum has also designed a special exhibition titled "Scaasi: American Couturier." When people hear the word art they naturally think of paintings and the fine arts but it is pertinent to remember that fashion is art and has always been an avenue of expression. The Textile and Fashion Arts Department at the MFA has an amazing collection of "fashionable art."
