One of the things I want most out of a house is a huge library. I love material objects, especially books, because they provide a visual of who you are and where you have been. My husband and I have quite a few books due to our extensive studying and, well, a small antique book addiction that we also secretly harbor. I can't wait to build my own library one day using all of the ideas and experiences I have gathered throughout my life -especially being that I once worked with the largest academic Molluscan library in the United States and quite possibly the world (strange, I know!).
