Nefertiti has long been considered one of the most beautiful women to have lived. Her iconic status has led to many copies of her famous bust while studies of her beauty created quite an impact on popular culture during the 20th century. Instead of creating an exact replica of ancient dress I chose pieces that Nefertiti would wear in contemporary times. I believe she would stick with intricate patterns and lots of big jewelry but with modern silhouettes. Oh how i wish I could make this my couture costume for Halloween!
