Legends of the Fall

I'm not sure why but this Degas painting reminds of a scene from the movie Legends of the Fall.  I feel like someone should be running across Degas' open field in this fabulous plaid sweater.  And wouldn't this be a great palette for a kitchen (browns, blues, and whites) - clean, crisp and no-fuss - just like this painting.
