This has to be one of my favorite works of art. She never ceases to make my heart melt as I circle her in admiration of her naive sincerity and extreme grace. Degas created a masterpiece of texture and innocence. There is a need to reach out and touch the hem of her skirt and twirl the ribbon that streams from the bottom of her braid, becoming a part of her tactile realness. This work has been cast multiple times but no matter the setting she will remain enchanting every time I set eyes on her.
